I live on a family farm near Kettering, Northamptonshire in the Midlands. Since leaving school, I have groomed for event riders and also evented my own horses to British Eventing 2*.

After having two children, I wanted to do something with my favourite animal …a donkey! A lot of people have said to me ‘why buy a donkey? I always respond with why wouldn’t you buy a donkey?‘

…so I began working on an idea. Training miniature donkeys to visit dementia patients, care homes, hospices, & special needs to promote happiness and well being was something I would be very passionate about. This is something I now love doing everyday, with my two miniature donkeys Freya and Tallulah.

Visits can either be away from home, or here at our farm where you can come for delicious afternoon tea or a group visit with friends.

We also provide other types of visits to weddings, schools, nursery’s, garden centres, fundraisers, fetes, Christmas nativities and anything else that means we can spread the love for donkeys.

I wanted to take a moment to explain why our business is only open Monday to Friday. As a parent of two young children, I prioritize spending quality time with my family outside of work hours. This decision allows me to be present for my children during their formative years and create lasting memories with them. I firmly believe that a healthy work-life balance is crucial for both personal well-being and professional success. Therefore, I appreciate your understanding and continued support as we strive to provide the best service possible within our limited operating hours.
